Description
Villa Del Sol is on the private residential area of Montana Roja (Red Volcano) in Playa Blanca, which is overlooked by the stunning extinct Red Mountain Volcano and has magnificent sea views. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private heated pool, A/C and FREE WiFi.
The property has a private electrically heated pool and to ensure your privacy we have built a beautiful Piedra wall from volcanic laver all around the garden, so you are private for swimming or sunbathing.
To keep the traditional feel of a Spanish holiday we have designed a BBQ built in the old tradition on the terrace, with a preparation area to the side, including a sink and covered area.
The upper terrace has an attractive fence with gates which is excellent for parents with young children, to stop them wondering unsupervised to the swimming pool.
Inside the villa we have designed it to cater for as wide a consideration of all ages as possible, and is furnished with a mixture of traditional and modern, to give a really luxurious feel, both in English and Spanish furniture.
The property has a large flat screen TV with an excellent choice of channels (including BBC 1 & 2, ITV, Channel 4 & 5 + most of the main SKY channels including the movies & sports), DVD player (DVD's Not Supplied).
From the beautiful lounge area, you have patio doors which open up on the upper sun terrace over looking the pool, as does the en-suite bedroom.
The villa has a superbly designed and equipped modern kitchen. Included in the kitchen is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, toaster & kettle.
The en-suite master bedroom with its super kingsize bed has patio doors leading directly on to the sun terrace. The second bedroom has a king size bed and the third room is a twin room. All bedrooms have shutters with built in Mosquito nets fitted.
Each bedroom is fitted with individual Air-conditioning units that also act as dehumidifiers or air purifiers for perfect sleeping conditions irrespective of the weather. They work on a coin meter system and are available to all guests.
Both free standing and ceiling fans are included in the basic villa price. Clean linen and towels are provided each week including beach towels.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS are available both SHARED and EXCLUSIVE. We can arrange this at very reasonable rates for our guests, please ask for a price list.
CAR HIRE. We can arrange to have a vehicle of your choice awaiting your arrival at the Arrecife airport in Lanzarote along with the company representative.
WHERE TO EAT. Locally in Playa Blanca there are many good restaurants to choose from. Those along the sea front are great for their ambience, but when asked to recommend one, there are two which remain consistently good and are all family owned and run. We had a really lovely time. Lovely villa, everything clean, good facilities. Nice big pool. Shops near. Short walk to Flamingo beach. Very easy to get to the main routes around the island if you have a car. Would recommend and would love to cosee more

Very reassuring gate around the verandah so young kids are kept away from the pool area.
Villa was clean throughout, very easy to check in and get up and running with wi-fi.
Aircon was on a meter (bring a few euros) but we barely needed to use it see more

Perfect location. 10-15 min walk to Flamingo beach where there is supermarket, bars and restaurants. 30 min walk to centre of Playa Blanca. Waterpark right across the road from the villa. |

The Villa was perfect. It had everything we needed. The pool was crystal clean and we swam every day. The location was perfect. Our son loved the box of inflatables, buckets, spades and Parasols in the yard, perfect for the pool and a few beach days see more

Our son loved the box of inflatables, buckets, spades and Parasols in the yard, perfect for the pool and a few beach days without having to buy any of those things. The whole place was clean, plenty of towels and utensils and plates in the kitchen. If you are looking, just book, and book direct as it was easier then booking via a 3rd party like Tripadvisor.

Stayed in this villa before. Great location for shops, restaurants and beach. Pool area has been updated and is lovely and the bathroom in the main bedroom replaced with walk in shower which was lovely. Beds extremely comfortable.

We have lost how many times we have returned to this villa we love it that much, we love the location, the layout and how everything is in walking distance.

We decided to stay for a full month this year, being in the villa for the full month you realise how much the changes effected us, in our opinion we feel that one of the best features of the villa has been taken away, the BBQ area was one of our bestsee more
We decided to stay for a full month this year, being in the villa for the full month you realise how much the changes effected us, in our opinion we feel that one of the best features of the villa has been taken away, the BBQ area was one of our best areas to sit at night time, eat our dinner and play cards, the lighting was good the whole area was a special area, with that area not their anymore we didn't enjoy it so much, the new BBQ position and the seating area was not to our liking, with no lighting in place it was impossible to sit in the area in the evening, lighting should have been a number one priority when moving the BBQ.

The area around the BBQ is going to be extended and the lighting in place, a new seating area and possibly a fire pit will be going in as well, to make the area really sociable for the future. The wok and frying pans could do with replacing. The dishwasher did not really clean the dishes properly. But we were fine to wash up. Also 2 sets of towels would be nice plus a bath mat in the second bathroom. And last a mirror in the other double bsee more

Everything about this villa was as wondedful and had everything you could possibly want, the outside space was ample and well maintained and the deck area was a great addition with comfy seating in the shade.

Inside was immaculate and the villa had everything you would need, the welcome pack was very well received as we arrived late. The location is great, on a quiet street, and 10 minutes for a walk to flamingo area and probably another 15 to playa blanca centre. We were lucky enough to meet the owners whilst there and they were very helpful and accomodating. We had a few small issues on arrival which were sorted promptly the next day by villas now reps. |

No real negatives about the villa, the only thing we would have liked was a brush and pan to clean the tiled living/kitchen space as we saw fit.
