Los Hervideros to El Golfo (currently closed)
This stunning coastal walk takes you from the dramatic cliffs of Los Hervideros, where the sea crashes against the volcanic rocks, to the charming fishing village of El Golfo. The contrast between the rugged coastline and the serene green lagoon of El Golfo is captivating and there are some wonderful restaurants to stop for a bite to eat!

- Time: Approximately 2 hours
Playa Blanca to Papagayo Beaches
Setting off from Playa Blanca, you can embark on a coastal walk to the famous Papagayo Beaches. The route offers stunning views of the turquoise waters, golden sandy beaches, and the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

- Time: Approximately 1 hour
Risco de Famara and Mirador del Río Viewpoint
Famara Mountain is considered one of the most magical places on the island of Lanzarote and with the famous Mirador del Rio viewpoint at the end, it’s even more spectacular! The trail, which should be considered a challenging walk for the fit, takes in breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and the island of La Graciosa.

Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero

Take a gentle stroll from the bustling resort town of Puerto del Carmen to the more relaxed Puerto Calero. Enjoy sea views, beaches, the scenic promenade that connects the two locations and take a moment to enjoy a spot of lunch!

Charco del Palo to Arrieta
Starting from the naturist village of Charco del Palo, this coastal walk leads to the coastal town of Arrieta. Along the way, you’ll pass volcanic landscapes, secluded coves, and the picturesque beach of Playa de la Garita.
- Distance: Approximately 7 km
- Time: Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
Costa Teguise Coastal Path
Costa Teguise, located on the east of the island, has a well-maintained coastal path that takes you along the shoreline, passing by beaches, rock formations, and scenic viewpoints. It’s a pleasant walk with opportunities to relax by the sea.

- Time: Approximately 2 hrs 15 minutes
Orzola to Jameos del Agua
Begin in the charming northern village of Orzola and walk along the coast towards Jameos del Agua. You’ll encounter stunning volcanic landscapes and lava formations, eventually reaching the unique underground attraction of Jameos del Agua.

- Time: Approximately 2 hours

Before any coastal walk, or before you head out for any time outside, it’s essential to check the weather conditions, wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Be sure to carry plenty of water and apply a good layer of sunscreen (make sure you take some to re-apply too!), especially in the warm climate of Lanzarote.
